Pietro Fiorentini welcomes 44 Lean Global Network consultants
On 9 September 2026, Pietro Fiorentini welcomed 44 consultants from 23 countries to its headquarters for the annual Lean Global Network meeting. CEO Mario Nardi opened the event, and colleagues shared the company’s continuous improvement journey, which began in 2000.
That journey includes 277 kaizen weeks. Some 81% of employees have taken part in at least one kaizen event, while 85 people work full-time on continuous improvement.
The visitors formed nine teams and worked alongside Pietro Fiorentini colleagues on practical challenges. These ranged from shipping flows at the biomethane plant in Trissino to production layouts, material movements, new lines and management planning. The teams presented their results before a closing discussion on combining artificial intelligence with lean processes.
